The 3RD in the Three-Volume Course will offer Jivamukti Yoga Teachers the opportunity
to explore the most played sections of the Jivamukti Yoga Chant Book:
Vol. 3: "Kirtan Chants"
The word ‘kirtan’ comes from the Sanskrit root ‘kir,’ which means ‘to cut.’ By singing the names of God, one is able to cut through the thinking mind and obtain freedom from delusion and separation.
“Chanting is the heart practice of Yoga. When we are in love, our hearts are constantly calling out the name of our lover. Chanting is that calling.”
“When we chant we are tearing open our chests, opening our hearts to reveal our true identity and finding God there.”
“The thing is, if what you call out to comes to you, then why not call out to the divine ”
